Three Strands ("we", "our", "us") is a technology company based in Kenya that creates digital products, software platforms, and ventures designed to stand the test of time.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or engaging our services. By accessing our website or entering into an agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or engaging Three Strands for any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our website or services.

Three Strands designs and develops premium websites for businesses and organisations. Our website development services include:

• Custom website design and development
• E-commerce platforms
• Content management systems
• Website redesign and modernisation
• Performance optimisation and technical SEO

The specific scope, deliverables, and timelines for each project are defined in a separate project agreement or proposal provided to the client.

We build custom business systems and software platforms designed to streamline operations, manage data, and support long-term growth. This includes internal tools, dashboards, and management systems tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Three Strands develops mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. Our mobile development services cover the full lifecycle, from concept and design through development, testing, and deployment.

We provide AI automation solutions that help businesses reduce manual work, improve decision-making, and deliver better experiences. This includes intelligent systems, automated workflows, and AI-powered tools designed for specific business needs.

Our brand identity services help businesses establish a clear, consistent, and memorable visual presence. This includes logo design, visual identity systems, brand guidelines, and supporting design assets.

We build communication solutions that connect businesses with their audiences. This includes email systems, messaging integrations, and customer communication platforms designed to work reliably at scale.

Where agreed, Three Strands may provide hosting services for websites and applications we develop. Hosting services are provided on a best-effort basis with reasonable uptime targets, and specific terms are outlined in the relevant project agreement.

To ensure the success of a project, clients are expected to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about their business and requirements
• Provide timely feedback and approvals on deliverables
• Supply necessary content, assets, and access in a timely manner
• Designate a point of contact for the duration of the project
• Review and test deliverables and report any issues promptly

Project timelines are agreed upon at the start of each engagement and are based on the scope of work and the availability of required inputs from the client. Delays in providing feedback, content, or approvals may extend the project timeline. We will communicate any changes to the timeline as they arise.

Payment terms are defined in the project agreement or proposal for each engagement. Unless otherwise agreed:

• A deposit is required before work begins
• Milestone payments may be due at agreed stages of the project
• Final payment is due upon completion and delivery of the project
• Invoices are payable within the timeframe specified in the agreement

Each project includes a defined support period following delivery, during which we will address bugs and issues that arise within the scope of the original work. Support periods are specified in the project agreement. Ongoing support and maintenance beyond the included period can be arranged separately.

Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables created specifically for the client transfers to the client. This includes custom code, designs, and content created for the project.

Three Strands retains ownership of any pre-existing tools, frameworks, libraries, and methodologies used in the delivery of services. We also retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

You agree not to use our website or services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our website or services. This includes:

• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfering with the proper functioning of our website
• Using our services to distribute malicious software
• Engaging in any activity that violates applicable laws

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Three Strands shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to the use of our website or services.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice if the other party is in material breach of the agreement and fails to remedy the breach within a reasonable period. Upon termination, the client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the date of termination.

We may update, modify, or discontinue any aspect of our website or services at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify clients of significant changes that affect active projects or ongoing services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
